Sara first started out volunteering with parent groups at her children’s school and helping out at Back to Ours events — where she’s still an active hub member today!

She became a volunteer at St. Michael’s Youth Project before Covid, after many of her friends and her began attending with their little ones. When the pandemic hit, Sara returned to care work for a while, but her heart was always with St. Mike’s.

Eventually, she found her way back — this time gaining paid employment with the team! Since then, Sara has achieved her Level 3 in Youth Work and is now working towards her Youth Work Diploma.
